We have been at Kalevankatu 4 since 2009, and we are completely independent of the large chains. That means you see the same dentist next time, that we set aside enough time to explain what we are doing and why, and that our prices are published in full — including what Kela pays and what you pay.

You will meet a team that takes the time to listen and explain. We will tell you what we recommend, what it costs and what happens if you wait — and then you decide. If you are nervous about the dentist, say so when you book; several of us treat anxious patients regularly.
A plan you can actually follow
You leave with a written treatment plan and a price estimate, not a surprise. For larger work we offer payment by instalments, and we will always tell you what can wait and what cannot.

Moving to Helsinki and finding a dentist you can actually talk to is harder than it should be. Every dentist here speaks English, and between us we also speak Swedish, German, French, Greek, Polish and Russian. We are a team of six dentists and a dental hygienist working together at one address in central Helsinki. Between us we treat patients in eight languages, and you keep the same dentist from one visit to the next.

A full check-up at Providental is €45 if this is your first visit to us — normally €89, or €59 once the Kela reimbursement is deducted. Scaling for first-time patients is €99.

See the full price listHow does Kela reimbursement work?
For treatments covered by Kela we deduct the reimbursement when you pay — just show a valid Kela card. Our price list shows both figures, so you can see the list price and what you actually pay. If you cannot show a card, you can claim the reimbursement from Kela yourself afterwards.
