You will find us in the heart of central Helsinki, at Kalevankatu 4. We have worked in our current form at this address since 2009, and we are completely independent of the large chains — which means quality, unhurried appointments and prices published in full.

Our story

Providental has been treating patients at Kalevankatu 4 since 2009 — on the corner of Kalevankatu and Yrjönkatu, a stone's throw from Stockmann.
- 1972 – 1985 Providental opens at Kalevankatu 4 after a full refurbishment built to meet every standard the profession sets.
- 1985 – 2021 The team grows to six dentists and a dental hygienist, adding implants, oral surgery, orthodontics and aesthetic dentistry.
- 2025 – now The clinic moves one floor down to the 2nd floor at the same address, and opens on Saturdays — still independent, still no chain behind it.
The premises were fully renovated before we opened, and we have kept the equipment current since: digital X-ray, panoramic imaging and modern root canal instrumentation.

We set aside enough time for both the examination and the treatment, so that the work is done properly — the way we would want it done for ourselves. You get a written estimate before we start anything, and where a treatment is covered by Kela we deduct the reimbursement med Helfo der det er aktuelt.
Full bredde under samme tak
Providental has six dentists and a dental hygienist. That means most treatments — from a routine check-up to implants, root canals, orthodontics and oral surgery — are done here, without a referral somewhere else. We also take referrals from other clinics.

You will find us on the 2nd floor at Kalevankatu 4, in the heart of Helsinki. We take our time and explain everything as we go. Nervous about the dentist? Just say so when you book — several of us treat anxious patients regularly.
